The City of Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Department works with the appointed Arts Commission in making recommendations to the City Council about cultural affairs. The Commission and Cultural Arts Department organizes special programs, which include, Artist Designed Benches, Banner Competition, Music in the Park, Palette Competition, Art That’s Small at City Hall and the annual Public Art Tour Day. In addition, the Cultural Arts Department published the annual Arts Directory, Public Art Brochure and quarterly Cultural Arts Calendar.
